Episode 19 features Chris playing with a new band called On Track. The band is based in Cornwall England and features another three very talented musicians who are well known to each other in the area. The band members are Chris Morris on lead guitar and vocals, Malcolm Rescorle on rhythm guitar and vocals, Simon Mitchell on bass guitar and Alan Constant on drums.

At the moment they are concentrating on compiling a repertoire of songs which are cover versions. Hopefully if the band continue to be as popular as they are at the moment they will expand their repertoire to include some original compositions.

 The forming of the band couldn’t have come at a better time for Chris as  he has recently celebrated a significant age milestone. This milestone also coincides with the 50th anniversary of Paper Lace releasing their debut single Billy Don’t Be A Hero. The song went to number one in the UK pop charts, followed by “The Night Chicago Died” which reached number 11 in the British charts and number 1 in America.

 So who knows! with all the advantages of today’s social media platforms at their disposal could we be looking at another Billy Don’t Be A Hero? lol.
