Episode 5
MusicCast Forever
I released my first single in 1971, which was called 909, followed by a cover version of the popular Shocking Blue hit called Venus which was originally released in 1969. The songs were both produced by The Emperor Rosko.
The Emperor Rosko (Michael Pasternak), was a record producer as well as being a popular BBC Radio One presenter. The singles were released on the Mother / EMI record label and distributed by Beacon / EMI.
During my career I have also appeared on fourteen major T.V. Shows, and sung on numerous BBC radio broadcasts with the BBC Northern Radio Orchestra. The above video was recorded in 1980 when I appeared on a popular Saturday night TV show called “Up For The Cup” hosted by David (Diddy) Hamilton.
