Episode 6-My Battle Scars
MusicCast Forever
The bulk of the filming for “My Battle Scars” took place in a village in south west France close to where I live with the inserts of Chris playing guitar filmed in Bodmin Cornwall England.
The hardest task was editing and synchronising the tracks to the movie and considering we’re not Pinewood or Hollywood directors, we feel that it turned out very well.
My Battle Scars is an emotional and very poignant song dealing with homelessness portrayed through the testimony of an ex-soldier.
It is estimated that between 100 and 400 veterans in the UK sleep rough outdoors ever year. A further 3,000 to 4,000 are expected to face homelessness, sleeping in cars, or derelict buildings. Although there are many charity organisations involved with the homeless the question continually arises, can government do more and are they doing enough for ex-military personal who through no fault of their own find themselves in this position?
